Reading Assignment 9

Orlick approaches Pip and tells Pip that he is responsible for Biddy disliking him, and that he was the one who attacked Mrs. Joe. Ever since Orlick was introduced I had a feeling throughout reading that he was going to be a problem. Then when I finished reading I thought to myself that I had a good opinion throughout reading about Orlick's personality. After having his arm injured, Trabb's boy finds Pip. After that I had a general idea that Trabb's boy is a generous boy for helping Pip. When Magwitch was about to board the ship to escape, Compeyson comes up to him and seriously injures him. I had a feeling that Compeyson was going to do something, ever since the way he was acting throughout the reading. After being injured Magwitch was taken into custody, and he had severe charges. Since the injuries from Compeyson, it caused Magwitch to pass away. After that I knew Pip was going to be devastated, because how Magwitch was such a big benefactor of Pip's life. After a while Joe finally reaches his dreams, in which he marries Biddy. I had a feeling something good was going to happen to Joe, because he was such a nice man, and he should have deserved something good. In the end Pip notices Estella and they talk, and Pip knows that he will never stop thinking about her. Ever since Pip met Estella, I thought something was going to happen between them, including getting married, but it still turned out good between them.
